A Vintage Premiership Season
Win a couple of games back to back and you find yourselves challenging for a place in Europe – lose a couple and you are in the dreaded relegation zone.
That is how tight the best football league in the world is this season and why it will remain as sports biggest drawing card.
There were bad signs at the start of the season headed mainly by the world wide credit crunch which threatens the spending cash in everyone's pocket in every country.
But, it seems, the quality of British football being laid out in front of the fans from Mauritius to Mandalay and Melbourne to Manchester is persuading many of the subscribers that they are ready to pay even more for the privilege.
Of course we are not going to see West Bromwich Albion win the title but even the newly promoted bottom club know that back-to-back wins would lift them from bottom to mid table and they only have to look upwards at Hull's position to see what can be achieved with confidence and courage.
