VisitBritain have enlisted the help of Royal Mail postmen and women to launch an exclusive guide to Britain.
The postmen and women involved have revealed some of their favourite parts of the United Kingdom, via a series of vodcasts hosted on the VisitBritain website.
In another development, an independent new website has been launched offering the services of local people to global travellers. At ourexplorer.com, potential visitors can contact guides and others with local knowledge.
VisitBritain hope that the First Class Guide to Britain will help to entice both domestic and international holiday makers to spend their summer break in the UK this year.
The postmen and women turn presenters as they take viewers on a tour of their daily routes revealing a treasure trove of little known delights across the country. In partnership with VisitBritain, the stunning videos showcase some hidden gems of local knowledge gleaned from years of experience on their respective routes, to help entice domestic and international holiday makers.
